Experiment in Gratitude, Day 14

Today I am grateful for:

- MY ROOMMATE IS GONE!!!!!!!
- I had a WONDERFUL weekend with my best friend!!!
- My condo is sparkling clean and gorgeous!
- I have beautiful new metal recycling bins!
- My trash can is small and under the sink, so I don’t have to stare at it.
- I have books to trade.
- My roommate’s bedroom doesn’t smell anywhere near as bad as I was afraid it might.
- I have a beautiful puppy.
- My aunt and grandmother returned safely from Scotland.
- I have the new Lady Gaga album and I really like it.
- I made yummy chickpeas tonight, and extra yummy mint chocolate walnut brownies.
- I’m going to have a new mastermind group.
- I was able to brighten the day of someone I care about.
- I have client calls to look forward to tomorrow!
- I found a place that appears to be able to print business cards while I wait.
- I’ve got awesome ideas to write on!
- There’s a networking event on Thursday! And a call with my awesome coach!
- This month’s Marketing Program project is really intriguing.
- I have a fascinating tarot spread to read.
- The magic eraser I used on the faucets in my bathroom made them more shiny than they’ve ever been while I’ve lived here. :)
- I planted a tree last night.
- I have an AMAZING background and logo for GSL, and three AWESOME business cards!!
- Lots of yummy food this weekend!
- Fun plans for how I’ll renovate this condo when I (hopefully) buy it.

Experiment in Gratitude, Day 13

Today I am grateful for:

- the gorgeous weather we had today
- that Ali is on her way here now!
- the successful call with a new client
- my roommate is moving out tomorrow and Sunday!!!!
- I just watched a hilarious Monty Python video
- I have a gorgeous puppy
- I have a brilliant business partner
- I have an equally brilliant coach
- I have work that challenges me and lets me grow
- Cymbalta is definitely working, which gives us a good idea of what might be going on in my kooky muscles
- I got another $100 of travel stipend for SISMID
- OMG, SISMID is in two weeks!
- My inbox is down to 55!
- I have a surprise on my desk for when I finish the stuff for this launch :)
- Ali is bringing me two bottles of Carolina Treet BBQ sauce!
- And a cutting board
- And she’s bringing her drill, so I can finally hang the mirror I bought almost 9 months ago
- I’ve got a networking event coming up this week, maybe new paying clients?

Experiment in Gratitude, Day 12

Another absolutely crazy few days. I need to move this further up the priority list so that I don’t get to midnight and completely forget about doing it.

That said, there’s been a lot to be grateful for. :)

-My roommate IS moving out! Saturday and Sunday!
-I saw an AMAZING house concert last night – Perpetual E-Motion. Electric violin, foot percussion, synth guitar and digeridoo. And I got to talk with them afterwards, and hopefully I’ll get to see them again this weekend!
-Cymbalta is finally starting to kick in, I think. My muscles are maybe kinda sorta beginning to relax.
-Ali is coming to visit this weekend! \0/
-I have lots of options to bring in a handyman and get the walls in my roommate’s room repainted.
-I have a beautiful puppy.
-My business partner is amazing.
-My business coach is also amazing.
-I met some really cool people at the show last night.
-My grandmother fell yesterday, but she didn’t do any serious damage and got on a plane last night to fly to Scotland.
-I feel like I’m on the edge of understanding the math behind the norovirus model. I think.
-I’ve written some posts that are really gonna kick ass when they’re published.

Experiment in Gratitude, Day 11

Today I am grateful for
-my godparents and cousins are all safe and sound after the Minneapolis tornadoes
-the same for my family in Ohio, though they had storms instead of twisters
-Stacy found a new wordpress plugin to use for the PP quiz!!
-my roommate is moving out in 8 days!!!!
-I got to go to the farmers market by myself this morning, and I found an awesome golf umbrella at Big Lots
-yummy yummy yummy food for the week
-very excited to try the gluten free quinoa pasta I found
-Ali’s coming to visit!
-my beautiful puppy :)
-awesome posts written for MP
-cool guest post ideas for promoting PP
-I can breathe in gratitude even while tamping down annoyance that my roommate is violating quiet hours again
-I’m no longer the person who stews in annoyance for hours when people are being stupid – as soon as this is done, I’ll remind her of the terms of lease she signed, and if she won’t get off Skype I’ll turn off the internet

Experiment in Gratitude, Day 10

Today I am grateful for
- knowing that I have a safe place to leave my puppy when I head to Seattle
- finding somewhere to meet up with other entrepreneurs in the Atlanta area
- a good talk with Barb about the weeks we’ve had
- the possibility that Ali might come down during the next week
- 9 days until my roommate moves out!!!
- vitamin C tablets that actually taste yummy
- orange flavored tea that tastes yummier :)
- the cool paper geo-thingy that hangs above my computer
- concrete progress on two of my business goals
- having the house to myself to work for a while :)

Experiment in Gratitude, Day 9

It’s been a couple of days since I wrote last, because it’s just been a whirlwind. Where to begin…

I’m grateful for
- a lead on somewhere safe to leave my beautiful puppy when I’m in Seattle
- my amazing business partner, and the awesome things we have planned for this summer
- meeting up with a fellow blogger and squeezing a half hour to talk out of the day
- ten days until my roommate moves out!!!
- my fix of the door comes free of charge, courtesy of my landlord
- an awesome session with my cool new coach, who had lots of ideas for how to crush it this summer
- a kick ass, on top of it sort of day in which I managed breakthroughs on not one but two projects
- I get to see Seth Godin when I’m in Seattle!!!!!
- the broccoli in my fridge is still good, so I can make Enchanted Broccoli Forest this weekend
- I’m reading two really intriguing books that are giving me lots of ideas for the future
- I got a random, $25 check from Emory Healthcare
- I have cool new business cards
- I just watched a fucking hilarious episode of the Daily Show, and read a lot of funny #rapture tweets

Today I am grateful for

- the opportunity to connect with new people
- finally getting my avatar set up in a way that i can actually monitor easily
- the progress i made on the norovirus model
- all the people who are interested in productivity coaching
- the great idea i got from listening to a third tribe seminar

Today I am grateful for:

- my roommate moves out in 14 days!
- the sky was absolutely beautiful all afternoon
- i’m finally managing to sleep soundly and wake up feeling somewhat refreshed
- i had a fascinating conversation with keith today
- my puppy is adorable and makes me laugh
- i have some amazing friends and an awesome business partner
- i’m going to get an awesome night’s sleep and kick ass at everything i do tomorrow!

Experiment in Gratitude, Day 6

Today I am grateful for:

- 15 days until my roommate moves out!
- I have a beautiful, adorable dog who loves me
- I finally manged to break through some of the block I had and write three posts!
- Tomorrow, that break through will translate to all the business tasks I was blocked on, and I’ll have a phenomenally productive day!
- I ran across multiple valuable posts on promoting e-books and I have FOUR free kindle books in my desktop reader on the subject
- The condo is clean, all drains are unclogged, the front door closes without undue effort and I have lots of yummy food cooked for the week.

Today I am grateful for
-my puppy and the adorable little dance he does at dinner time
-another amazing talk with a fellow polymath
-the fact that my roommate is moving out again in 17 days
-the ideas, confidence and support of the people around me
-the potential to go to bed early and wake up feeling refreshed
