Today I am grateful for:
- my beautiful puppy and the wonderful job he did walking across the Emory campus this morning
- my personal best ever sight reading audition
- the cheery yellow flowers in my office
- the fact that my family came through Irene without any significant damage
- six additional hours a week to work on my business
- all of the cool people that I’ve been able to connect with lately
- exciting ideas for launching the niche wide survey on GSL
- the opportunity to see The Taming of the Shrew on Saturday
- a potential outlet to sell my jewelry and have it support a good cause
- a potential buyer for the entire shop
- running across the articles on manifesting money, and having $10 show up in my volunteer apron later that day
- my first paying client!!
- having another potential client who’s interested in coaching in a month or two
- all of my classes seem like they’ll be exciting
- not having any final exams at all
- finding ice cream on sale yesterday
- making a yummy black bean stew, with perfect pork chops to go with it
- finding lots of gluten free restaurants and bakeries in Atlanta
- the University of Surrey has a concert choir
- time to write this morning
- clean countertops, clean dishes, and soon to be clean floors
- the opportunity to talk with Rachel
- the rest of the Lift Off group
- finding a co-host for my planned GSL survey
- awesome ideas from my conversation with that co-host
- connecting with other people in the niche :)

Experiment in Gratitude
Today I am grateful for:
- an amazing time in Portland
- actually understanding my avatars for Written Insight
- meaningful conversations with everyone at Lift Off
- finding out my superpower!
- getting to see Jen and Steph again
- making a connection with Emilie
- finding the perfect bag, and then buying more books than would fit in it!
- having an honest conversation about hiring them both
- the opportunity to see Rich for the first time in years
- having him be the first person in the family to completely, 100% support me in what I’m doing
- an idea to possibly hire him further down the road
- getting home on the cheap, even if it did take longer than expected
- coming home to a house in perfect order, clean, and with plants watered and cheerful daisies on the table
- seeing my beautiful puppy again
- having my awesome house guest pay to board my beautiful puppy
- having my awesome house guest offer to pay for the nights she’s spending on my couch (which she totally didn’t have to do, but which is much appreciated none the less)
- having plants growing in my upside down planters!!
- how beautiful my gorgeous puppy looks after a bath
- finding out 100% that I’m allergic to latex in a way that didn’t threaten my life
- finding out that benadryl before running can blunt, but not eliminate, anaphylactic shock reactions
- ideas about creative writing certificates, MFAs in Atlanta, and getting a job in modeling before heading over to the UK for my PhD
- having the money to pay for this month’s bills
- realizing that I have the money to pay next month’s bills as well, if the student loan money doesn’t come in
- realizing that I have almost enough in my Smarty Pig accounts to cover another month after that
- having three people agree to free half hour coaching sessions for Personalized Productivity, and hopefully at least one or two will sign on for a coaching package
- figuring out how to transfer the entries and comments from Multiple Passions to Good Ship Lifestyle
- breaking both Amazing Little Ecosystem and Good Ship Lifestyle, and figuring out how to fix them by myself, within ten minutes of breaking them
- talking to family members and managing to conceal my trip to Portland
- cooking two amazing smelling dishes for this week’s meals
- finding a gluten free macaroni and cheese that actually tastes good!!!
- wrapping up some lingering paperwork that’s been sitting on my desk for weeks
- my amazing business partner
- how awesome everything looks as we go into our next launch
- the feeling that even though it might be tight, I’ll make it
- the time to read an amazing book
- ideas about moving to Guernsey someday
- the heat finally building into a thunderstorm
- my house guest finding a place and moving out on Tuesday
- being alive :)
