The Gratitude Tree

I have a gorgeous little Carolina Sapphire tree, but very little in the way of ornamentation.

One bare tree...

So I decided to make my own ornaments, and turn the tree into a daily reminder of everything I’m thankful for.

My first gratitude ornament

Then I thought, why should I be the only one to deck the tree?

Tell me what you’re grateful for, and let’s cover every inch of this little tree!

  1. I am grateful for my children, because without them, I would not have learned so many lessons already in my life. I am grateful that they will always be the catalyst that moves me to do and be better.

  2. My gratitude list is a mile long, but I’m currently grateful for my brother and niece, the online communities that support me, that I live in a gorgeous place (Seattle), that I have my health (finally), and that I get the chance to get up every day and choose who I want to be.

  3. I am grateful for 2011. In 2010, I dreamed big entrepreneurial dreams and in 2011 those dreams came true and then some. Plus, a dream I hadn’t dreamed of having yet came true and my little awesome baby girl showed up and made my life even better. So here’s to 2011! In the words of Frank Sinatra, “it was a very good year.”

  5. I am grateful for my family, my friends, my furry babes, my body that has let me abuse it with another years worth of running and mostly for tomorrow so I can be grateful all over again!

  6. I’m most grateful for my friends, my spiritual community and my business community — including the amazing LiftOff community I luckily found this year. Also grateful for the beautiful place I live, the wine country of Sonoma County, California, and all the many blessings of having so many places to commune with nature nearby. Oh, and my 18-year-old cat, Elvis!

  7. I am grateful for my family, friends, my amazing new community and for all the grace that has been granted me this year. In so many ways I left the space of doing and entered the peace of “DONE”. My word for 2011 was Freedom and I broke free of many chains and shackles.

  8. I am grateful for my children, and the joy they bring me every day just by being themselves. I am grateful for my doggies. And I am grateful for the people I am lucky enough to work with. They fill me with joy, and allow me to live my purpose.

  9. I am grateful for my daughters, my Patient Husband, the opportunity to coach and inspire peeps. I am grateful that I am safe, clothed, housed, and fed. I am grateful that I have everything I need and more. I am grateful to be learning my next life lesson even as I type!

  10. I’m grateful for love, life and connecting with amazing people all over our Earth! For abundant opportunities & amazing ways to do my work in the world! & last, but certainly not least, I’m so grateful for the spirit of sharing & caring this holiday season!!! Blessings to you all!
